Why water cooling

Made for a UAE summer.

    Heat stays outside the machine

    Air-cooled miners breathe the air around them, and a UAE summer passes 45 °C. Hydro miners are cooled by a water loop, so the hall's air temperature matters far less.

  2. 02

    No dust through the hashboards

    Hydro miners have no fans pulling sand and dust across their boards, a common cause of failures in air-cooled halls.

  3. 03

    Quiet and dense

    Without fans the containers are quieter, and more machines fit in the same space.

The same plans as all our hosting, with the installation fee for water-cooled machines. The rate is all-in: power, cooling, monitoring, cleaning and maintenance. Installation and transport are paid once.

Miners at 12 J/TH or better cannot pay installation up front; at 10 J/TH or better, installation is in the rate.

How many miners fit at F57 and F58?
We plan 85% of a site's MVA rating for miners and count it in hydro miners of 5.5 kW: F57 (6 MVA) gives about 5,100 kW, room for about 927 miners and F58 (4.5 MVA) gives about 3,825 kW, room for about 695 miners. Your exact count depends on your models.
What is on the sites today?
The power. F57 is energised and F58 waits for final inspection and energising. Our Bitmain Antspace HW5 hydro containers are ordered and in transit, and are placed on each site as hosting contracts are signed.
When does F58 open?
Its power connection is ready and it is waiting for final inspection and energising. We confirm the date once it is set. If you enquire now, we plan your installation around it.
Can I host air-cooled miners here?
These sites are for water-cooled miners. Air-cooled machines go to our other UAE centres.
Is there a minimum order?
No. We host a single machine as well as a whole container.
Can I buy the miners from Segments?
Yes. Buy hydro miners from our catalogue and we install them on the site, or send us your own.
What does the rate include?
Power, cooling, monitoring, cleaning and routine maintenance. Installation and transport are charged once. Repairs and spare parts are quoted separately.
How long is the contract?
12 months. The rate is lower when you pay hosting ahead.
Is uptime guaranteed?
No. Our hosting agreement sets an uptime target, and we track every machine around the clock from the pool and from the site. You see each machine's status in your client portal.
