Hosting
Air-cooled, 1.5 kW, racked in a UAE centre
The Antminer Z15 is an air-cooled machine, so it goes into our air halls, not the water-cooled sites. The rates are the four offers on the hosting page; the sales desk confirms which hall has rack space for your batch.
- Installation $45 per machine ($30 per kW, air).
- 12-month term, UAE tax invoice, uptime as the ERP reports it on the status page.

Payouts
ZEC to your wallet, from the pool you choose
Point the machine at any Zcash pool: ViaBTC, F2Pool, 2Miners, Luxor and others support Equihash. Payouts go from the pool to your own wallet in ZEC. Segments does not convert, hold or custody ZEC. The pool fee is the pool's, typically 1–2%.
Before you reserve
What can go wrong
- Difficulty keeps rising
- Every Z15 switched on anywhere lowers what yours earns. Difficulty was about 135 M in spring 2026 and is 251.5 M today.
- ZEC moves more than BTC
- ZEC peaked near $1,650 in September 2026 and has traded about a quarter lower since. A privacy-coin rally can reverse.
- Halving in late 2028
- The miner reward drops from 1.25 to 0.78125 ZEC per block at block 4,406,400, expected around November 2028. ZIP 234 proposes a smoother decline instead; it is a proposal, not a decision.
- One coin only
- Equihash 200,9 has no other coin worth mining. If Zcash mining stops paying, the machine has no fallback.
- Resale follows ZEC
- The Z15 Pro roughly doubled in price during 2026. It can halve as fast. Buy for the hashrate, not for resale.

Questions
What the sales desk gets asked
- Which pool does the machine mine on?
- Any Zcash pool you choose. ViaBTC, F2Pool, 2Miners and Luxor all take Equihash workers. You give us the pool address and worker name; we configure the machine and you can change it any time.
- How and when am I paid?
- The pool pays ZEC to the wallet address you set, on the pool's own schedule. Segments never holds your ZEC and does not convert it to another currency.
- What do I pay Segments?
- The machine price, the installation fee and then hosting at the rate on your contract, billed on a UAE tax invoice. Nothing is deducted from your mining payouts.
- Why can the earnings fall even if the ZEC price holds?
- Zcash difficulty rises as more Equihash hashrate joins the network; it is 251.5 M today and roughly double its spring 2026 level. Your share of the block reward shrinks as the network grows. The stress table above shows the effect.
- Can you host Z15s I already own?
- Yes. Choose “Host my own units” in the form; the sales desk confirms the hall, the rate and the installation fee. The machine must be air-cooled stock, not a modified unit.
- Can I sell the machine later?
- Yes. Clients can list machines from the portal on the Segments marketplace once it opens, or sell them privately. The resale price follows the ZEC price and the difficulty, both ways.
